Residence Clinical Supervisor

Shift: May vary depending on needs

The Residence Clinical Supervisor plans, coordinates, and manages direct patient care and program activities as assigned with internal staff and external customers ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures.  The Residence Clinical Supervisor provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient and the policies of Harbor Hospice.

 

The Residence Clinical Supervisor leads the Poppen CENA and nursing team and creates a warm and supportive culture for our patients, their families and hospice staff.  The Residence Clinical Supervisor administers the nursing and CENA program, holds staff accountable to the service objectives, policies and standards of nursing and CENA practice. Manages, directs and schedules the work of licensed nurses and nurse aides.

The Residence Clinical Supervisor considers the organization’s mission and the organization’s business needs in all decision making.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with degree from an accredited nursing school and holds a current license in the State of Michigan. BSN preferred.
  • Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has the availability of a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.

Homecare Float RN – Registered Nurse

Shift: 80 Hours Per Pay Period, M-F 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and 2nd On-Call Weekend Rotation

The RN provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulation as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient and the policies of Harbor Hospice.

Qualifications:

  • Is a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Current state of Michigan Registered Nurse License.
  • Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred.
  • Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.

PRN Residence Nurse – Registered Nurse

Shift: Varies

The RN provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulation as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient and the policies of Harbor Hospice.

Qualifications:

  • Is a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Current state of Michigan Registered Nurse License.
  • Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.
  • Must be very flexible and able to work all shifts.
  • Able to work various roles at our hospice residence.

PRN Primary Care Nurse – Registered Nurse

Shift: Varies

The RN provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulation as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient and the policies of Harbor Hospice.

Qualifications:

  • Is a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Current state of Michigan Registered Nurse License.
  • Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.
  • Must be very flexible and able to work all shifts.
  • Able to work various roles in Home Care.

Residence CENA

Shift: Every Other Weekend 3 pm – 11:30 pm and 11:00 pm – 7:30 am

Provides direct care to patients in the Hospice Residence including, baths, vitals, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen, housekeeping and laundry.

Qualifications:

  • A nurse aide training and competency evaluation program approved by the State as meeting the requirements of § 483.151 through § 483.154 of this chapter, and is currently listed in good standing on the State nurse aide registry.
  • Current state of Michigan Nurse Aid Certification.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.
