Residence Clinical Supervisor – Poppen Residence                      

Shift: 80 Hours Per Pay Period

The Residence Clinical Supervisor plans, coordinates, and manages direct patient care and program activities as assigned with internal staff and external customers ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures.  The Residence Clinical Supervisor provides skill sets with skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient and the policies of Harbor Hospice

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse License.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.

Medical Records Specialist                 

Shift: 80 Hours Per Pay Period, M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

The Medical Records Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate patient charts to comply with state, federal and JCAHO regulations, computer data entry into the patient management system, and word processing.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of medical records education, and/or two-four years previous medical records experience.

Hospice Registered Nurse OR Licensed Practical Nurse – Home Care RN/LPN     

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus                 

Shift: 38.5 Hours Per Pay Period, M-F 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm, Every Other Weekend 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm

The RN/LPN provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulation as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient, and the policies of Harbor Hospice.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current state of Michigan Registered Nurse License.
  • Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred.
  • Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CENA) – PRN – Poppen Residence                      

Shift: As needed (weekday, evenings and weekends)

The CENA under the direction and ongoing supervision of the registered nurse, provides essential personal care assistance to patients.

Qualifications:

  • A nurse aide training and competency evaluation program approved by the State as meeting the requirements of § 483.151 through § 483.154 of this chapter, and is currently listed in good standing on the State nurse aide registry.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.

RN PRN Residence Nurse – Poppen Residence                       

Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, as needed

The RN provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulation as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient, and the policies of Harbor Hospice.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current state of Michigan Registered Nurse License.
