How To Give
Gifts can honor someone on occasions such as a birthday, anniversary, or retirement.
Your generosity will be acknowledged and a special letter will be sent to your honoree. You can direct your gift to be used for a specific program or need.
Memorial gifts are a meaningful way to express sympathy to the family of the deceased. Gifts are acknowledged to the donor and the family is notified of your thoughtfulness.
If you wish to send a check.
If your company matches your giving, please note that our legal name is Hospice of Muskegon County, Inc. doing business as Harbor Hospice. Our Federal Tax I.D. # is 38-2415247.
We also accept donations or event sponsorships/purchases online!

A Gift in Your Will or Trust
Your will or trust is the legal record of your wishes for the distribution of your assets. The term bequest refers to the instructions regarding that distribution.
Bequests are the simplest and oldest of all planned gifts. Over our history, bequests have helped Harbor Hospice add services and establish endowment funds.
Just a few sentences in your will or trust is all that is needed. Suggested language to share with your attorney is:
This type of planned giving is simple, flexible, versatile, and it may be a tax-wise step as well. Above all, it is valuable and meaningful to the mission of Harbor Hospice and end of life care.
Please notify Harbor Hospice if you have made a planned gift, or if you would like any additional information.
Some donors prefer to make a specific gift and Harbor Hospice has some specific needs. We call that the Wish List. These items are representative of Wish List items.
Please contact the Development Office if you are interested in purchasing something from the Wish List or to learn what other items are currently on the list.
