The Bob and Merle Scolnik Healing Center of Harbor Hospice in partnership with the Muskegon Museum of Art is pleased to offer Inner Self Mask Making – An Evening around Art Therapy for Grief and Loss
Masks can express those parts of our inner, secret self that we often don’t reveal in our everyday life. In this art therapy group, you will be given a blank 3-D paper mache’ mask and we will explore those hidden aspects of ourselves in a supportive and therapeutic setting. A variety of art materials will be available (including glue guns) but feel free to bring in personal items from home to embellish your mask. The group will include time for creation of the art and discussion at the end of session, along with a pre-workshop tour of the museum exhibited art collection.
Provided at no charge and open to the public. Registration in advance required, please contact Harbor Hospice to register by calling 231.728.3442 or 1.800.497.9559 or fill out our contact us form.
Please see our statement on proactive measures being taken due to COVID-19 for virtual and in person individual grief support sessions.
