Recognizing Service and Providing Care

Taking care of our country’s Veterans one patient at a time.

Embracing Their Stories and Honoring Their Service

Veterans hold a special place in our hearts, and we are proud to have attained the highest level of recognition from the Veterans Administration and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization for service to our hospice patients who are Veterans.

Throughout the year, we hold social gatherings with Veterans, and our Veteran volunteers frequently visit hospice patients who are Veterans to listen to their stories and offer grateful acknowledgment of their service. We also offer a very personal ceremony during which we present a Veteran with a specially designed pin, giving us another opportunity to thank both our Veterans and the family members that surround them for the sacrifices they made in service to this country.
