Save the Date - Sunday, May 5, 2024

Round up your friends and head to the White Lake Eagles for the 7^th Annual Purse Party on Sunday, May 5th. Doors open at 1:00 pm for the much-anticipated Purse Party, which features both live and silent auctions with hundreds of fabulous selections from casual clutches to high-end designer bags. Buy-It-Now option with prices starting at just $5 with a $2 bidder paddle fee! Cash, check, or credit cards accepted.

Attendance is FREE and all proceeds will benefit Camp Courage, our annual grief support camp for children and teens ages 6-14. Become an ambassador for this fun event—be sure to post on social media and gather your family, girlfriends, and colleagues to join you!

Eagle membership is not needed to attend.

In the past seven years, the Purse Party has raised more than $20,000 for our annual grief support camp, Camp Courage. The event is organized by the many Ladies of the White Lake community.

Donations of new and gently used purses and handbags for the Purse Party are welcome all year-long at our Muskegon administration office or Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence.

Camp Courage is a program for any child or teen age 6-14 who has experienced the death of a loved one. Camp Courage is an annual program of the Bob and Merle Scolnik Healing Center of Harbor Hospice which provides hospice, palliative care, and grief counseling to children and adults in Muskegon, Oceana, Mason, Ottawa and Newago Counties.
