Harbor Hospice Welcomes Dr. Caitlin Fulton as Medical Director

Muskegon, MI January 2025 – Harbor Hospice is pleased to announce Dr. Caitlin Fulton as the new Medical Director. With over seven years of experience as a hospice and palliative care physician at Harbor Hospice, Dr. Fulton has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to providing compassionate care to patients living with serious illnesses.

As Medical Director, Dr. Fulton will lead the medical team for both hospice and palliative care services and continue offering expert guidance to patients and families navigating complex health journeys. Her focus remains on symptom management, relief from treatment side effects, and helping patients make informed medical decisions.

Dr. Fulton’s dedication to hospice and palliative care comes from a deep desire to enhance the quality of life for those with serious illnesses and support families in creating meaningful moments during challenging times. She finds great fulfillment in walking alongside patients as they navigate this significant part of life, helping them focus on what matters most.

Her extensive training and passion for patient-centered care equip Dr. Fulton to lead the Harbor Hospice medical team while continuing to provide exceptional support to patients and families.

Dr. Fulton holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her fellowship in Hospice & Palliative Medicine at Trinity Health Saint Mary’s in Grand Rapids. She is board certified in both Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Family Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). She has also served as a clinical faculty preceptor at Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and Trinity Health Saint Mary’s Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program.
