Highest fundraiser wins a surprise!  Fundraising campaign will end May 31, 2020 at 5:00 pm.  Winner will be announced on Facebook week of June 1.

Sharing:  Become an ambassador for your ride or your teams fundraising goal.  Post on social media and gather your family, friends and colleagues to join you.

Annual event raising funds and awareness for the Harbor Hospice Foundation and supporting The Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence program will be held on Saturday, Mary 23, 2020.

NEW this year the 39th Annual Fruitport Old Fashioned Days 5K run will benefit the Poppen Hospice Residence.   Run (or walk) and Ride in memory of a loved one!

Since 2006, the charity bike ride has brought in almost $15,000 with all proceeds benefiting our inpatient hospice program, The Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence, which opened in 2005.  Almost 3,000 patients and families have called this their home at end-of-life.

Held in Fruitport and in conjunction with the Fruitport Old-Fashioned Days Festival – the community has joined us for the past 13 years to ride around beautiful spring lake in memory of loved ones who have died.

A quote from our sponsor

“My family and I know how important hospice care is because we experienced it with my mom,” says Jim Kauppila, member of the Fruitport Lions Club and chair of the Ride to Remember. “Many of our riders come back year after year, and we’re all grateful to be able to support the Poppen Hospice Residence with this fun event.”
