There will be no physical large gathering for the Sk or bike ride events. These will be held virtually with runners, walkers, joggers and bikers registering online. We encourage you to get outside during the week before Memorial Day. A $5 minimum registration fee and crowdfunding will benefit the Poppen Hospice Residence in Fruitport Township.

It is very important that we keep our senior population, community, and staff healthy and safe. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended canceling or postponing in-person events that consist of 50 people or more. Because of the changing environment surrounding the pandemic, we’re unable to hold a physical event.

A quote from our sponsor

“My family and I know how important hospice care is because we experienced it with my mom,” says Jim Kauppila, member of the Fruitport Lions Club and chair of the Ride to Remember. “Many of our riders come back year after year, and we’re all grateful to be able to support the Poppen Hospice Residence with this fun event.”
