Post Traumatic Growth Group is an intensive and focused grief group designed to guide you toward positive changes following a challenging or traumatic life event. The material will assist you toward increasing a sense of purpose, growing in resilience, and formulating identity in meaningful ways so that, although losses will continue to occur in the future, you can be better equipped to manage them and make healthy choices for the long-term.
Participants will be a least 1 year beyond their loss and also have participated in some form of grief counseling and/or groups. There will be homework, and a small cost for the workbook. Participants will be asked to commit to each of the 6 virtual sessions every other Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm during June, July and early August.
If you would like to bring renewal and empowerment into your life, please contact Beth Bolthouse, MA, MS, LPC at 231.327.4375 (cell) or 231.728.3442 (office) for more details.
Effective March 16, 2020 all grief support groups and individual sessions will be done via video conference and phone. Please see our statement on proactive measures being taken due to COVID-19.
