Ways to Give: How You Can Help
Play a larger role in supporting patients and families in our community who need palliative, hospice, and grief care.
Giving to the Harbor Hospice Foundation
Each gift to the Harbor Hospice Foundation helps cover capital and program costs not covered by insurance or Medicare, allowing us to support patients and families during difficult times, regardless of their ability to pay.
Ways to give to the Harbor Hospice Foundation include memorial and honorary gifts and donations, gifts from an estate, trust, or other assets, and direct donations. You can also become part of one of our four donor groups: Legacy Circle, Sustaining Circle, Compassionate Givers, or Corporate Partners.
A Meaningful and Lasting Tribute
Support a service or program (like the Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence or the Bob and Merle Scolnik Healing Center), honor the memory of a loved one, or thank someone special who has touched your life.
Legacy Circle
When you designate a gift to the Harbor Hospice Foundation in your trust or will, you help ensure our Circle of Care continues for patients and their families.
Sustaining Circle
Members of the Sustaining Circle give an initial gift of $1,000 or more to the Harbor Hospice Foundation and pledge the same amount annually for five years. Their support covers major expenses not covered by insurance for Harbor Palliative Care, the Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence, and the Bob and Merle Scolnik Healing Center. These pledges enable us to maintain these programs at full capacity for West Michigan patients and families.
Compassionate Givers
As a member of Compassionate Givers, your annual gift will have a significant impact when combined with contributions from other members.
Corporate Partners
Our Corporate Partners generously make annual financial gifts to the Harbor Hospice Foundation, directly supporting our care for adults and children. In gratitude, we proudly promote our partners in newsletters, annual reports, community events, on social media, and link their websites to ours—it’s a partnership that benefits everyone.
