Join us for a day of family fun and giving back at our 3rd annual Horses for Harbor Hospice, a trail riding event benefitting the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
Staring at 10:00 a.m., equestrians, friends, and family (there will be plenty of fun activities for the kids!) will enjoy trail riding, a silent auction, raffle, horseshoe hunt, face paintings, hayrides, Clydesdale horse wagon rides, and more!
We will be grilling all afternoon! Hot dog lunchboxes are included with your registration and will also be available to purchase for $5 (for those who are not riding trails).
This event is open to the public and all are welcome!
All proceeds from this event will benefit the compassionate and life-changing grief support programs of the Bob and Merle Scolnik Healing Center, which includes individual counseling, group sessions, and a library of excellent reading materials that we offer at no charge to adults and children struggling after the death of someone close. Our grief support is also available to anyone experiencing other kinds of grief, such as the sense of loss that can accompany divorce, being diagnosed with a serious health issue, or the passing of a beloved pet.

2022 recap
Our 1st annual Horses for Harbor Hospice raised funds and awareness for the Harbor Hospice Foundation and supported the compassionate, life-changing grief support programs and services of the Bob and Merle Scolnik Healing Center.
Held on September 10, Horses for Hospice 2022 was a memorable day for equestrians, family, and friends alike—featuring trail rides and hayrides along with a silent auction, raffle, cornhole tournament, and more.
Organized by one of our hospice nursing assistants, our 50 riders and guests had a beautiful sunny day to enjoy this unique event with the over $8,000 proceeds benefiting our grief support programs and services.
