Current Job Postings

Clinical Manager                

Shift: 80 Hours Per Pay Period, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.  Weekends – Administrator on call rotation

The Clinical Manager will provide direct supervision of the hospice clinical staff. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing direct patient care and program activities as assigned with internal staff and external customers ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures.  Participates in program development and enhancement initiatives including the provision of community education as required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Nursing education program, Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
  • Current state of Michigan Registered Nurse License.
  • One year or more of Home Health or Hospice experience preferred.
  • CPR Instructor Certification
  • Must be proficient in the use of computer clinical and office software.
  • Must possess at least three years of supervisory experience.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CENA) – PRN – Home Care/Poppen Residence                      

Shift: As needed (weekday, evenings and weekends).

The CENA under the direction and ongoing supervision of the registered nurse, provides essential personal care assistance to patients including, baths, vitals, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen, housekeeping and laundry.

Qualifications:

  • A nurse aide training and competency evaluation program approved by the State as meeting the requirements of § 483.151 through § 483.154 of this chapter, and is currently listed in good standing on the State nurse aide registry.
  • Current State of Michigan Nurse Aide Certification
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.

Residence Nurse (RN) – PRN – Home Care/Poppen Residence                       

Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, as needed.

The RN provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulation as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient, and the policies of Harbor Hospice.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current state of Michigan Registered Nurse License.
  • Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred.
  • Possesses and maintains a current CPR certification.
  • Maintains a valid Michigan driver’s license and has access to a reliable, licensed and insured vehicle for use on the job, vehicle must be insured in accordance with the State of Michigan.
