Reflecting on Sherman Poppen’s Generous Legacy

Multi Pictures of Sherm Poppen 1024x725 - Reflecting on Sherman Poppen's Generous LegacyWe are saddened to learn of the passing of our long-time friend Sherman Poppen. Sherm left an amazing legacy when he and his sister Leila made it possible for Harbor Hospice to open the Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon County, as a tribute to their parents.

Thanks to their tremendous foresight and generosity, patients and families are welcomed and cared for with love, skill, and compassion in a beautiful residential setting at one of the most tender and meaningful times of their life.

Today, Harbor Hospice volunteers and staff are especially mindful of all the patients and families over the years who have expressed their gratefulness to us and to Sherm and Leila for the peaceful setting and fine care they receive at the Poppen Residence.
