August Wed

Match Day for Mason County

Start at:
12:01 AM
End at:
11:59 PM
Address/Location:
Online Event: https://mason-foundation.org/matchday2020/

In early summer, we were honored to be included in the Community Foundation for Muskegon County’s first Match Day on June 3, which generated operating support for more than 40 non-profit organizations supporting the residents of Muskegon County.

Now we have been chosen as one of 17 organizations invited to participate in a similar event hosted by the Community Foundation for Mason County!

Here’s how it works: The Foundation has built a pool of nearly $100,000 to match gifts given on August 5 and designated for participating non-profit organizations. Each gift from $1 to $1,000 per donor, per organization, will be awarded a proportional contribution from the Foundation based on its pool of Match dollars.

We are thrilled to be included in this one-day event, and we hope you will support it!

All funds raised will remain in Mason County! That means every dollar you give to the Harbor Hospice Foundation, plus the Match dollars, will fund hospice and palliative care for Mason County residents at home and in residential facilities and provide support and counseling for Mason County children and adults who struggle with grief.

Giving on Match Day is easy! The best way to make a qualifying donation is to give online at www.mason-foundation.org/MatchDay2020. That link will go live August 5 at 12:01 a.m. You can also send a check to the Harbor Hospice Foundation. In order to qualify for the Match, your check must be dated August 5.

During this anxious time, there is one constant you can count on: our volunteers and staff continue to provide skilled, compassionate care to patients, their family member and friends, and to support and counsel those who struggle with grief.

The Community Foundation’s exciting Match Day and support from friends like you make that possible.

Please accept our deepest gratitude for walking alongside us.
